Water Level Nowcast
This water level animation was created with hourly plots from the latest GBOFS nowcast in Galveston Bay. The spatial pattern
of the highs and lows is due to both the astronomic tide and meterological forcing. Areas of red and orange (green and blue)
show location of high (low) water which progresses from the entrance of the Bay northward during the flood and reversed from
Bay southward during the ebb.
