CO-OPS Scores High in Customer Satisfaction
According to a recent American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey conducted by CFI Group,
customer satisfaction with CO-OPS products compares very well with other Federal Government agencies.
CO-OPS score of 82 is much higher than the overall Federal Government ACSI score of 68.9. The ACSI surveys,
established in 1994, have been conducted to measure satisfaction with goods and services available
to U.S. consumers, including both the private and public sectors. ACSI has measured more than 100 programs
of Federal Government agencies since 1999. Data for the CO-OPS survey were
collected via links on NOAA Websites and email invitations from May 13-June 10, 2009. The goal
of the survey was to measure customer satisfaction with current CO-OPS products and services
and to gain insight for future areas of focus.
