Select a year and an event to view peak water level information on the interactive map. Clicking individual points will display the observed peak water level value for the storm / event. The View Data hyperlink within the pop-up will take you to the verified water level observations for that station during the event.
Post-Event Peak Water Levels at NOS Stations

Note: Peak water level data is available for tropical cyclones and significant coastal storms where a sufficient amount of peak water level heights were measured at National Ocean Service (NOS) stations. The National Hurricane Center uses NOS water level stations along with other coastal observations including high water marks for determination of peak storm surge following tropical cyclones. Peak water levels displayed here are derived from verified 6-minute water level observations at NOS stations only and may not represent the highest observed water level for a given storm. For recent storms, preliminary observations may be used until water level data is verified.
