How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks, travel to MacLeod Harbor from the village of Chenega Bay (located on the shores of Sawmill Bay). Head east out of Sawmill Bay, then north in Latouche Passage for 9.3 km (5 nm). Round the north tip of Latouche Island and head south in Montague Strait for 22.2 km (12 nm) to reach MacLeod Harbor. The tide station and bench marks are located on a prominent, rocky point on the north shore of Macleod Harbor, Montague Island, Prince William Sound. The point extends south from the north shore of the bay about half way between the mouth and the head of the bay. The point is approximately 1.85 km (1 nm) SSE of Point Woodcock.
